Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Skylet Drive. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Skylet Drive (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the service

Skylet Drive provides cloud storage that lets you upload, store, sync, and share files. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload; we claim no ownership of your files.

You grant us only the limited permissions necessary to store, transmit, back up, and display your content for the purpose of operating the Service for you.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. Notify us promptly at support@skyletdrive.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Plans and billing

The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until canceled. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees plus any taxes.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll retain paid features until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change our prices, and we'll give you reasonable advance notice before any change affects your renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to store, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful. In particular, you must not:

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your use poses a security risk to the Service or to others. Where practical, we'll give you notice and an opportunity to export your data before termination.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skylet Drive and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
